Happy Fall, friends!
This is hands down, without a doubt my favorite time of the year! I absolutely love the changing of the seasons. I love sweatshirt weather, leaves turning radiant colors, pumpkins and hay bales, football, chili, being back in the school routine after a long summer... and so many things.
I have memories of fall that include taking nature walks and collecting leaves to press or trace and picking dried berry stems and bouquets. In this issue: we're talking about capturing the beauty of the season with your family or friends, including how to press leaves.
We're going to discover a beautiful featured farmhouse and some beautiful tips and tricks of how to adopt the farmhouse style into our homes, plus a special feature in Issue 4 of "Farmhouse Entryways" - with creative ways to make entryways adopt a charming farmhouse feel.
I love the gardening tips from Farmer Mel... September and October are often the tail end of summer and fall harvest for many regions. It's also time to start winter crops if cool-seasons are something you'd like to tackle this year! (We are!)
With the start of school for the kids in our lives, we've discussed some of our favorite quick and healthy after school snacks. Doug touches on the importance of engaging with our children to help them become life-long learners in Dougs Domain.
For the first time ever, we're highlighting some of our feedback from our readers (we LOVE you guys!) and there may be some tears shed when we read the feedback we receive from you on a daily basis! Thank you!
Finally, my heart: The Main Street Movement and some big plans for growth and expansion over here in Farmhouse land... we're really excited to launch some big things about USA made and buying local, plus a renaissance of the Main Street in our hometown of Billings, MO.
I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed putting it together!
xo,
Jordan
